Taverly Cox

Dallas Metro Operations Assistant

Taverly Cox grew up in Allen, Texas. Her family are all believers, and as a result she grew up going to church with them. When she was nine years old, she began to tell her mom that she decided she wanted to follow Jesus and be baptized. She gave her life to Christ that day and was baptized soon after.

After she was baptized she continued to go to church on Sundays, but she still felt that there was something missing in her spiritual walk. During her sophomore year of high school, she began to go through a hard time with friends and a new relationship. When she reached out to an old mentor of hers in order to seek advice, she was invited to come to a community outreach time.

Through this, she was trained to share the gospel and make disciples by using simple tools. This is when Taverly began to see the true importance of sharing God’s word. Three of her friends, including her old mentor as well as her fiance, began to show her the importance of telling others about Jesus and continued to walk beside her as she made this a process in her daily life. They trained her on tools to share the gospel and how to disciple others.

Soon after high school Taverly felt God calling her into ministry. She felt led to teach others the tools that had impacted her years earlier and had a strong heart for students. After hearing about Collision and seeing the work they were doing in Dallas, Texas, she decided she wanted to be a part of what God was doing through Collision. She soon joined the team in January 2025. Taverly is now excited to work with churches and students in her hometown to equip them with the tools that impacted her.
