Marcus Brandenburg
Development Officer
With over two decades of dedicated service in the Air National Guard, Marcus Brandenburg brings a wealth of leadership and community service experience to his role as Area Director at Collision. Marcus is passionate about fostering strong, supportive communities and has a proven track record in community outreach and development.
Before joining Collision, Marcus served as the Neighborhood Coordinator at Habitat for Humanity, where he played a pivotal role in helping residents of Sioux Falls and surrounding areas repair their homes. His efforts extended beyond home repairs, as he worked closely with fellow nonprofits to enhance community outreach initiatives.
After several years of going through the motions of church, Marcus fully encountered the Lord during a men’s retreat at Inspiration Hills in Iowa. He gave his life to the Lord alone in his truck, while listening to “Awakening” by Chris Tomlin on the radio. This profound experience marked a turning point in his life. At a time when their marriage was on the verge of collapse, Marcus and his wife found renewed strength and purpose in their faith, becoming yoked and living for the Lord.
Marcus is a family man, married with two children and a grandchild on the way. His commitment to service is deeply rooted in his personal and professional life, making him a compassionate and effective leader within the ministry.
